For our family SWFCCS has been a huge blessing! The teacher's are over the top with the amount of love and time they put into their work with the students and the families. The atmosphere at the school is very loving, caring and nurturing. The kids can feel safe and accepted without having to deal with the conflicts and pressures of a larger school. I love that SWFCCS is small enough to allow students much more individualized attention and the ability to advance at their own pace rather than at the same level of as a group. We moved to Florida from Illinois and left a Wonderful Christian school that we all LOVED. I spent 1/2 a school year homeschooling and desperately trying to find a replacement school. The Fort Myers area is huge and I thought that it would be an easy task. After checking out dozens of schools, praying and countless pro and con lists, we chose Southwest Florida Christian Community School. I am so SO glad that we found SWFCCS! The administration and the teachers are so Amazing! My son will graduate this year ready for college and with God's armor on.

My wife and I have dreamed of giving Xavier a great education while at the same time being able to keep him in an environment that would strengthen him in the Lord. We have worked really hard to continue raising Xavier in ways that show how great God is in our life and sending him to public school was last on our list. My wife has taught Xavier at home but as most moms know it can be challenging with another small child. God answered our prayers with SWFCCS! It has been amazing for our family. For one I never dreamed it possible to afford private school and secondly the opportunity to give my wife a small break has been incredible.

To our family, homeschooling is about so much more than just sheltering our kids from the "outside world" or protecting them from unhealthy indoctrination. We truly want to prepare and equip them to be leaders in their generation. SWFCCS helps us do that by partnering with us and allowing us to be a part of their education. My husband and I get to develop a support system of likeminded families and our children benefit from valuable Godly friendships. We love the intimacy of homeschooling and all the social aspects of traditional school. SWFCCS is truly the best of both worlds!
